Learn how the Cutchogue New Suffolk Park District serves our residents.  Watch the video of the November 21st meeting with the Park District commissions:  Dave Bergen, Steve Starroff, and Pat Kelly.  The Commissioners filled us in on the history of the park district (established in 1958), sprinkling in a few colorful details.  They also presented the 2025 budget and discussed planned park improvements.  Park District Quiz:  Do you know the locations of the four parks located within the district?  If not, click on the link and have a listen.

Currently, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) are not permitted under a Town Board moratorium lasting through April 11, 2025, but could provide an alternative energy source in the future.  Below is a Suffolk Times article on the recent development of draft recommendations for regulating BESS.
